Petr Knoth is an experienced researcher with expertise in data science, text-mining, information retrieval, machine learning, digital libraries, and open science. Knoth is also the Head of CORE, the world's largest full-text aggregation of open access papers, and UK's National Aggregator of research papers. Knoth has led data science and engineering teams across two organizations and three countries. He has over 25 national and international R&D projects under his belt, including FOSTER and CORE. He authored/co-authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and has delivered over 50 invited talks. Knoth studied Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, and Intelligent Systems, graduating with honors from Brno University of Technology and Utrecht University. Knoth received his Ph.D. from The Open University, specializing in Information Retrieval, and Text-mining.
