Lothe Verstraete is an accomplished Deputy Director with a wealth of experience in the international trade and investment industry. With comprehensive knowledge in intercultural communication and international business, coupled with fluency in multiple languages, Lothe is a skilled all-rounder. She has gained invaluable experience in Asia and has a vast network in Belgium. Lothe's education is characterized by numerous degrees, including a postgraduate certification in China Business Development, a master's degree in Eastern Language and Culture, Sinology, and a bachelor's degree in Language and Area Studies, Sinology.

Prior to her current role as Invest Coordinator at Flanders Investment and Trade( FIT) for the AMEAP region, Lothe served as Deputy Director Inward Investment for Greater China and Korea at FIT. She also held the same position for Greater China only earlier on. Her early career began with a stint as a Trainee for Inward Investment Greater China at FIT, reinforcing her expertise in this field. Lothe also previously served as a Tourguide at Thomas Cook/ Neckermann and as an English teacher at Wuhan New Oriental School (武汉新东方学校) and the School of Hope (希望教育).
