Janey Walker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in television, education, and digital media. As the Managing Director of Indie Training Fund, she has been providing expert-led training for independent television and digital media companies. Furthermore, she is a board member of Ofcom Content Board, where she advises on regulatory issues and standards. Janey also launched www.IGGY.net, The University of Warwick's online network for gifted students aged 13 to 18 years.

At Channel 4, she played a critical role in managing the commissioning team and ran Channel 4 Education and its digital strategy between 2006 to 2010. As a part of C4 senior management, she was responsible for budget, recruitment, and talent development, to name a few.

Janey holds a degree in History/Politics from the University of York and has also studied at the University of Chicago and the London Business School. She served as Deputy Chair of the Board of Governors at the University of Brighton.
