Edie Cheng is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for empowering young women and girls in the tech field, particularly focusing on computing and the intersection of technology and media.

Currently serving as the Director for Aspirations in Computing at NCWIT, Edie works tirelessly to increase the meaningful participation of girls and women in the tech industry.

With a diverse background, Edie previously held the role of Digital Media Manager at the San Francisco Symphony and has experience as a project manager, entrepreneur, and business consultant.

She began her career as a software developer and has a solid educational foundation, holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brown University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
