Tom Harbert is a skilled network infrastructure engineer with many years of experience in the field. He has worked for several companies, including Facebook, Campaign Monitor, TELUS, and Sensis, in various roles such as Senior Network Specialist, Network Design Specialist, and Linux Network Engineer, to name a few. Mr. Harbert is a Bachelor of Information Technology graduate, having studied Data Communications at QUT (Queensland University of Technology).

At Facebook, Tom's role as part of the Network Engineering team is to design, manage, and automate the global network infrastructure architecture. He works with other network engineers and software and hardware engineers to blur the lines between the network and server worlds. He designs and supports provisioning systems and configuration management systems and tools to operate the global network efficiently.

Tom Harbert has also held the position of Head of Infrastructure Operations and Team Lead - Network & Infrastructure at Campaign Monitor. His expertise includes CCIE Routing and Switching, network design, configuration, and administration of traffic routing with an emphasis on automating tasks in the network.
