After just over 2 years tenure at Upskilled as the Finance & Strategic Director, I recently accepted the role as Chief Executive Officer. The role comes into effect 1 July 2012. This role will be jointly held with a highly respected colleague Sadiq Merchant. Our roles and responsibilities include ensuring the continuance of the instilled culture amongst the Upskilled staff, and ultimately ensuring that Upskilled become the most respected and successful Registered Training Organisations in Australia. 

In a little over 3 years, Upskilled has successfully trained in excess of 8,000 students, delivered training in over 80 locations, employed over 60 staff and a further 50 trainers, and ultimately created a brand that I am proud to be a leader of. 

The next 5 years and beyond are exciting times for the Upskilled Family and its Students.

Upskilled is a registered training organisation that partners with Australian businesses to improve business operation through upskilling the workforce.

Upskilled delivers its training from over 75 locations nationwide and via its Online delivery method. Over the last 3 years alone, Upskilled has delivered to in excess of 6,000 students across Australia.

Upskilled delivers effective, flexible and innovative training programs that equip existing workers with key competencies and additional knowledge to enhance their productivity and increase their confidence. Upskilled drives additional value for your business by improving the professional satisfaction of your employees. This is achieved through nationally recognised Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses.

Upskilled specialise in ONLINE and INSTRUCTOR LED Training and work closely with individuals and businesses on training plans and the government grant we have available nationally. 

Government funding is available to fund the entire training in many occupational areas. Upskilled staff have the expert knowledge of how to access government funding and training grants. 

In most cases, the entire training solution is provided at no cost to either the business or the employee. 

Upskilled provides government funded courses in Business Administration, HR and Training, Frontline Management, OH&S, Project Management, Sales & Customer Contact and more.

Finance & Strategic Director

My work at WHK Horwath Corporate Finance included assisting clients with valuations, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions and transaction services.

My role included preparation of Independent Expert Reports for public companies and consultation to businesses in implementing and executing exit strategies. Through the process I would research and gain extensive knowledge within a wide variety of industries, including entertainment, hospitality, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and education.
