Kazuaki Sato

Kazuaki Sato is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and vaccine industry spanning over two decades. Currently, he is spearheading efforts in promoting new business plans and open innovation related to digital health.

Over the course of his career, Kazuaki has been deeply involved in various key areas such as post-marketing surveillance, R&D strategy, business development, corporate planning, M&A deals, and project management.

His achievements include the successful establishment of the Kitasato-DaiichiSankyo Vaccine business, receiving an award for his contributions, and playing vital roles in projects like Project JUMP, Project MARTIN, Project UTOPIA, and Project KIDS.

In recent years, Kazuaki has focused on biologics research planning, particularly in the immuno-oncology field, R&D planning for new business initiatives, and has actively participated in external activities like the Manufacturing Technology Association of Biologics supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry.
