Thayer C. Smith

Thayer C. Smith is the CEO of Bayshore Capital Advisors, a private investment advisory firm based in Tampa, Florida. With over 15 years of experience in alternative and traditional investments, Smith is an independent and diligent leader who prioritizes client satisfaction above all else.

Smith's career began after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Following graduation, she worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, a global accounting and consulting firm. Today, she is also a Managing Member of ASAP Capital Partners, her family's investment office.

As the CEO of Bayshore Capital Advisors, Smith is responsible for implementing the firm's strategic vision while maintaining a strong emphasis on diligent research and investigative risk management. The firm offers comprehensive investment advisory services, focusing on actively managed investment opportunities in alternative asset classes and niche strategies.

Curious and diligent, Smith focuses on long-term value creation for her clients by investing alongside them. She is a member of the Institute for Private Investors, 100 Women in Hedge Funds, and has served on the boards of the UNC-Chapel Hill Arts and Science Foundation and the Tampa Museum of Art. Previously, she chaired St. Mary's Episcopal Day School's Investment Advisory Committee.
