Rachel Insoft

Rachel Insoft, a data scientist with Stitch Fix's Client Algorithms Team, uses math to predict the future. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with honors from Wellesley College and a Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics & Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition to her education, Rachel has held various roles in the field of data science, including Senior Analyst at EY, Predictive Statistical Modeler at IBM, and Data Science Intern at Walmart eCommerce.

Rachel has also worked as a Mathematics Researcher at Williams College Research Experience for an Undergraduate (SMALL REU) and participated in the Summer Mathematics Program for Women at Carleton College Mathematics Department. She has also worked as a Mathematics Teaching Assistant at Wellesley College Mathematics Department and a Mathematics Consulting Intern at BigBelly Solar.

As for her current role, Rachel is part of Stitch Fix's Client Algorithms Team, where her expertise in data analysis and statistical modeling helps improve the overall client experience. A true data whiz, Rachel is proof that math not only tells us about the past and present but can also shape the future.
