Katie Wampler

Katie Wampler is a gifted scientist with a particular interest in Water Resources Science. She worked endlessly to achieve her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Michigan State University, with an impressive 3.99 GPA. Now, she is currently studying towards a Master's Degree in Water Resources Science from Oregon State University with an impressive 4.00 GPA. Her research at Oregon State University focuses on the impact of wildfires on drinking source water quality with her hydrologic modelling expertise.

Katie has a broad range of experiences that range from science communication fellowships at OMSI to assistant science Olympiad coach at Grand Haven Area Public Schools. She worked as a GCMS semivolatile analyst at ALS Environmental and carried out police recruitment at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) previously. Being an all-rounder, she was also a women's team captain at Michigan State University Fencing Club.

As an individual, she is a former student intern at ATF and Michigan State Police and a Greencoat Special Event Security at Michigan State University. She also works as a learning assistant and professorial assistant at Michigan State University. She is a brilliant scientist with excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust to various fields of science.
