Doni Hanafi, a seasoned software engineering leader, is currently the Vice President at Tokopedia, driving the operation of Bridestory and Parentstory businesses. With an impressive track record, he co-founded Bridestory, the largest wedding marketplace in Southeast Asia, which was later acquired by Tokopedia in 2019. Doni's expertise extends beyond establishing startups and marketplaces, as he also assists clients globally with technical solutions. After completing his Bachelor's in Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, he pursued a Master's in Computing, specializing in Computer Science, at the National University of Singapore.
Doni's enthusiasm for technology development started at his first job as a Software Analyst at SingTel Mobile Singapore. He later served as a Lead Architect at Ice House before taking on various key positions at Bridestory, such as Co-Founder & CEO, COO, and CTO. Notably, he has a passion for building engineering teams, identifying and accomplishing strategic goals that enhance team productivity, implementing scale-up processes, and establishing a culture of innovation among teams.
