Andrew Mears is a skilled design researcher with a diverse background in industries such as automotive, travel, e-commerce, and consumer tech. Prior to his pursuit of ethnography and design, Mears worked in advertising, where he served as a digital planner and communications strategist at companies such as Samsung and Instagram. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Montclair State University and a Master of Arts in Systems Thinking, Strategic Design, and Design Research from Pacific Northwest College of Art, Mears is a well-educated design professional. He is currently working as a Design Researcher and Strategist at Amplified by Design as a contractor. Mears has a passion for innovation, curiosity, building businesses and products.
