He studied Electronics & Communications Engineering at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology before attending the Indian School of Business and China Europe International Business School, where he earned postgraduate degrees in management with a focus on strategy, leadership, marketing, and finance.

Johri began his career as an Assistant Works Manager for the Indian Railways, where he honed his operational expertise.
