As the Vice President of Community at IGEL Technology, Douglas A. Brown holds over 25 years of experience in virtualization, cloud, and end-user computing markets. Mr. Brown's career began in 2001 at Citrix Systems, Inc. where he spent four years as a Senior Systems Engineer while developing the leading Citrix project management and deployment solution, "Methodology in a Box," which now has over one million downloads. In 2004 he founded DABCC.com, where he worked with numerous marketing companies and acted as a technical advisor. He later became the Global Technology Evangelist at IGEL Technology, establishing and growing the Community from zero to over five thousand members and over two hundred thousand posted messages. He also manages over forty-five IGEL experts and visionaries and the IGEL VIP Program. Douglas has been awarded numerous Citrix and VMware awards for his contributions to the IT industry and has been acknowledged ten times as a Microsoft MVP. He was also awarded a US patent relating to "social content management." Additionally, he is the host of the top-rated virtualization and cloud podcast show, DABCC Radio, and DABCC TV.
