Melinda Jamil is an accomplished User Experience (UX) executive who has more than 15 years of experience in human factors engineering, usability research, and user-centered design. She has experience across many industries, including global health technology, in-vehicle transportation safety, financial services interfaces, and aviation displays. Jamil studied both Design and Environmental Analysis - Human Factors and Ergonomics at Cornell University and Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics at Virginia Tech. With a strong foundation in human factors and ergonomics, Jamil has worked in health care environments, consulting firms, government, and academia. She currently serves as the Human Factors Program Manager at Advocate Aurora Health, and was previously the Vice President User Experience at GfK, Senior Research Director at GfK, Senior User Experience Specialist at User Centric, Inc., and Senior Research Specialist at Virginia Tech Transportation Institute.
