Daniel Korson is a culinary entrepreneur who is passionate about sharing his love of healthy and delicious food with the world. At the age of 17, he started his own catering company, and at 26, he founded Coracao Chocolate, a Bay Area chocolatier, which has won numerous accolades and media recognition. The brand also produces CACOCO Drinking Chocolate, which has become the top-selling drinking chocolate in the US natural channel.
Korson is a graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute and the Studio Arts Centers International, where he studied photography. He also studied entrepreneurship, sociology, and communication at the College of Marin, and he attended Sir Francis Drake High. Before founding Coracao Chocolate, he worked as a pastry chef, chocolatier, and chef at Cafe Gratitude, as well as a winemaker at Starry Night Winery.
Korson's mission is to provide allergy-sensitive and health-conscious eaters with high-quality, tasty chocolate products that they can enjoy without guilt. He has been recognized for his business savvy and cooking skills by Fox News, ABC News, SF Weekly, Entrepreneur Magazine, and others. He is currently the President of Coracao Chocolate & CACOCO Drinking Chocolate at CORACAO CONFECTIONS INC.
