Pat Byrne is a seasoned CEO and business leader with over three decades of experience in technology and strategic business development. He currently serves as the CEO of GE Digital, where he leads the company's software business, and the CEO of GE Renewable Energy's Onshore Wind division, the global leader in wind turbine installations. Pat's background spans a range of leadership roles in R&D, marketing, quality, and general management at companies like HP, Agilent Technologies, Tektronix, and Danaher Corporation.
Pat's keen understanding of business strategy, market development, and M&A has helped him succeed in driving growth and profitability in his various leadership roles. He has also served on the board of directors for multiple publicly-traded companies, including Micron Technology, a global leader in memory solutions, and Verra Mobility.
Pat is a graduate of Stanford University, where he studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and UC Berkeley, where he earned a BSEE/CS Highest Honors degree. He also served as an adjunct professor of Electrical Engineering at University College London.
