Joshua Nafman is a skilled marketer with a broad range of expertise in digital, media, data, ecomm, and brand. He is currently the Global Director of Media Buying and Operations at Diageo, where he oversees the execution of strategic priorities and principles for biddable media channels. Joshua is also responsible for improving programmatic and social media buying efficiency globally, increasing brand-safe media output across a transparent supply chain, and ensuring the media, data, and owned and operated properties of Diageo stay compliant in the Trusted Marketplace for Media, Data and Technology.
Prior to joining Diageo, Joshua held various leadership roles in notable companies such as Hello Products, KIND Snacks, and Pepsi North America, where he developed digital, media, and creative functions and managed all digital, media, content, and e-commerce strategies and activations. Joshua's agency experience includes managing accounts for Hanes, Lipton, Apple, Pixar, GNC, Nestle, and more.
Joshua acquired his bachelor's degree in English and Communications from the University of Delaware and even taught graduate-level digital marketing at Sacred Heart University Jack Welch College of Business. Outside of his professional work, Joshua has an active personal life, including running, being a comic book collector, and a hot sauce enthusiast. He lives in Manhattan with his wife, two daughters, and his furry friend, Ted.
