Fuigo uses the power of a collaborative community – where independent designers share costs and resources – to afford entrepreneurs with the same powerful resources and scale that could otherwise only be possible at much larger design firms. More than a century old, Fortuny remains the highly esteemed Venetian textile company founded by noted artist, inventor and fashion-turned textile designer, Mariano Fortuny.Today, under the management of the Riad brothers, Fortuny is infused with the spirit of its founder, Mariano Fortuny. Every Fortuny fabric is still produced in the same factory, on the same machines, using the same secret process and techniques handed down from generation to generation.Just as Mariano Fortuny used his love for the past and respect for tradition to inspire his creativity, today Fortuny continues to be a pioneer in the world of design and technology. We specialize in well-designed catalog and portfolio apps.Rounded Corners was founded in 2009 by Mickey and Maury Riad and Arden Klemmer.  That year, Fortuny was about to launch a new collection, when their nice friends at Pentagram (thanks Luke and Shigeto) suggested they launch with an app.  So began the relationship between the 100-year-old Venetian fabric house and the iPad.  There were tons of logistical perks: clients had access to the entire collection anywhere, any time; it cut down on sampling costs; Fortuny could update the collection whenever it needed updating, and it was the most effective sales tool they  had to date. They quickly realized there  was an enormous demand within the luxury industry for an app that gave users an interactive, up-to-the-minute catalog or portfolio experience that the Riads decided to combine their design experience with a skilled development team and Rounded Corners was born.
