Thomas Bailey has a diverse background in higher education, public policy research, and communications. He is currently serving as a Strategic Manager at Imperial College London's Office of Financial Strategy, where he uses his extensive experience to facilitate successful outcomes. He is an alumni of Lancing College and University of Bristol where he achieved a Bachelor of Arts (BA), History, 2:1, Master of Arts (MA), History, and Distinction, respectively.

Before working at Imperial, Bailey was a researcher into digital skills in the UK and a communications officer for the 1994 Group. He is an expert in strategic management, business operations, strategic analysis, research, and communications. Bailey has also previously interned at PPS Group and Grayling, and occasionally writes at wonkhe, a platform for higher education specialists. In his previous role, as a Business Operations Manager at Scale Space or a Management Trainee at Imperial College London, he helped spearhead key initiatives that have led to significant improvements in the organizations.
