- Helped build Cedar's industry leading web application from the ground up using Python, Django, Redis, React, Postgres, Docker, ECS and other technologies- Designed and architected Cedar's messaging systems using event sourcing to decouple different components- Hired and scaled Cedar's engineering team to 15 engineers. Developed processes and structure to handle new team members and new business opportunities- Built Cedar's Hospital UI for real time communication between patients and hospital staff (Similar to Slack for Hospitals)- Lead security decisions and best practices and acted as Chief Privacy Officer- Organized discussions around new technologies and promote knowledge sharing across the engineering team

Engineering Lead

I managed IEX's website and internal apps using Javascript, Node, Python, Redis and HTML. I introduced new front-end technologies such as ES6 and React JS. In addition, I added a Jasmine frontend test suite to all new code. I built a reusable front-end framework for creating new apps with simplicity and performance in mind.

Software Engineer

I worked to improve the speed and reliability of Ordergroove's client integrations. I upgraded the front-end code with new technologies such as Promises, Browserify, and Grunt to make development easier. I released 7 open source Github libraries as a result.I introduced front-end testing and end-to-end testing for greater reliability. Code review and Jenkins automated tests are now a part of all code pushes.I gave weekly tech talks on new front-end technologies. I mentored other engineers to help them improve their front-end skills.
