Jarret Glasscock is a renowned geneticist, computational biologist, and the founder and CEO of Cofactor Genomics - a company that uses RNA to diagnose diseases. With a diverse academic background, Jarret studied Molecular Genetics, Genetics, and Biology/Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Arizona. Notably, he was involved in the Human Genome Project, where he led the Institute’s Computational Biology Group, and was part of the Technology Development Group that characterized the first RNA-seq experiments on early instruments like 454 and Illumina/Solexa(Serial #1).
