Edgar Pacheco is an experienced Assistant Technical Manager with expertise in food safety. He oversees and manages the food safety program at Congdon Packing Co., LLC, ensuring compliance with HACCP, Risk Assessment, and GFSI benchmarked standards such as BRC and SQF. With a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, obtained from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA, Edgar started his career at Congdon Packing as a Shipping QC inspector in 2010. Since then, he has been promoted to the Food Safety Department, where he audits three different facilities annually against the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.
Besides, Edgar is a certified professional in HACCP, SQF basics, and Internal Auditing. He attends training workshops periodically throughout the year to ensure his learning is updated with new laws, codes, and regulations in food safety. Additionally, he is bilingual in English and Spanish, which enables him to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
