Prarthana Vasudevan is a scientist and communicator who is passionate about improving global vaccine access. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, a Master of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Prarthana is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health in Global Health at The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.

Before transitioning to public health, Prarthana worked for five years in infectious disease and vaccine development via her work at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and the University of Maryland. She made the change to public health to work more with people and connect technical experts, advocates, policymakers, and funders towards improving vaccine access.

Prarthana is the Communications Officer at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her mission is to reconnect with former colleagues and make new connections with those interested in public health advocacy or global immunization.
