Chris is a Principal at StrategyCorp specializing in helping public, private and not for profit clients create conditions for success with advice on public policy development, strategic and business planning, organizational and operational design, and stakeholder communications and engagement. Chris has more than 18 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors at the executive level and advising senior industry leaders in government, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and real estate.

Chris is a director on the Council of the Royal Society of Canada (rsc.ca), chair of ArtsBuild Ontario (artsbuildontario.ca), and vice-president of select hockey for the Streetsville Hockey League (streetsvillehockey.com). 

Chris has his BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto and his MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Chris was a vice-president and director with Deloitte's Infrastructure Advisory and Project Finance group specializing in infrastructure project development and procurement. Chris worked with public sector clients in conceptualizing, planning, financing, and procuring major infrastructure projects. He also co-authored a number of Deloitte Point of View documents, including Deloitte Canada's "Stimulus Spending and beyond" POV on managing stimulus spending (http://www.deloitte.com/assets/Dcom-Canada/Local%20Assets/Documents/ca_en_stimulus_october09.pdf).

Chris spent nine years with the Ontario government in increasingly more responsible positions. He was the Director of the Accommodation and Property Management Policy Branch with the Ontario Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal where he managed a budget of $150M, exercised oversight over the Ontario Realty Corporation, and developed strategic policy to leverage the government’s accommodation portfolio to support government priorities. Prior to that, Chris was the Manager of Affordable Housing Policy with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing where he led the development of policy to implement the Canada-Ontario Affordable Housing Agreement. 
While he was with the Ontario Ministry of Finance, Chris led the team that drafted the Ontario government’s Building A Better Tomorrow Infrastructure Planning, Financing and Procurement Framework. In 2001, Chris served as Chief of Staff to the Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Native Affairs where he managed sensitive files and issues critical to the advancement of the government’s agenda.
