He started his career as an engineering intern at General Electric and later honed his financial acumen as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where he worked his way up to Senior Associate Consultant.

Sam then made the transition into private equity, where he spent several years at Charlesbank Capital Partners before joining Gauge Capital. At Gauge, he has held various leadership positions, including Vice President, Senior Vice President, and his current role as Principal. Sam's experience in private equity includes deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management across a range of industries.
