David Stanley
David Stanley is an accomplished Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in signal processing and machine learning applied to neuroscience data. He has extensive experience in statistical analysis and computational neuroscience modeling. David holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida, where he worked on brain-machine interface design. He also pursued MASc in Electrical Engineering and BASc in Engineering Science - Physics Option, both from the University of Toronto.
David Stanley has been a Fellow at Insight Data Science and a Research Scientist at Boston University. He was also a Postdoctoral Research Associate and a PhD Candidate at Boston University and the University of Florida, respectively. Before entering academia, he worked as a Wireless Technology Analyst at Bell and was an Ontario Ranger at the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Currently, David Stanley works as a Machine Learning Engineer at Neurable, where he develops ML algorithms to solve classification and anomaly detection problems in real-time. He has a keen interest in biotech/neurotech startups.
