Brian Mutert has over 30 years of experience in investment banking and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) within the software and internet industries. He has successfully led over 100 engagements on the sell-side, helping companies find buyers and secure capital for growth. Mutert has worked with companies such as Google, IBM, HP, and Adobe, and has experience in cross-border transactions, having completed deals with companies located in Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Australia, and Singapore. He has also advised on capital raising from both financial and strategic sources, with notable successes in both categories. Mutert has a strong understanding of the competitive dynamics within the technology industry, underpinning his investment banking advice and execution. He holds a Master of Arts in Economics of Finance and Investment (MBA) from the University of Exeter. Mutert is currently the Founder and CEO of Stratagem Partnering, Inc. and has previously worked as Lead Software Analyst and Technology Analyst at Robertson Stephens and Waddell & Reed, respectively.
