Uzma Amin, MPH, is a public health leader and a passionate designer who aims to bring social justice and financial wellness through human-centered design. She holds an MPH in Health Care Management from Yale University and a BA in South and Southeast Asian Studies from UC Berkeley.

Currently, Uzma works as an associate at Financial Health Network, striving to improve the financial wellness of the community. She previously worked as a Design Research Lead at UCSF Medical Center and as a Healthcare Design Research Intern at CAMA, Inc., where she developed her expertise in design thinking, research methodologies, and HealthTech. Uzma started her career as a Health Advocate at Alameda Health System, where she gained experience in program planning, community outreach and health education.

Uzma has been a fellow of Innovate Health Yale at Yale School of Public Health, and a Jr. Healthcare Strategist at Sensis. She has been an Editor-in-Chief at Al-Bayan Magazine and, Content Designer and Coordinator at Center for Emerging and Neglected Disease. Furthermore, she has been a Social Media & Brand Strategist at CITRIS Foundry, and an Online Presence Intern at About-Face, San Francisco, CA.

Uzma Amin has a diverse skill set that includes public health program planning, design thinking, health education, financial health, and community outreach. Her expertise in health care management, health tech innovation and social media management aid in effectively promoting her work. Through her passion and drive, she aims to further public health, social justice, and financial wellness in sustainable ways.
