His forte lies in adeptly overseeing investments in various financial instruments including leveraged loans, high yield bonds, distressed debt, and equities, showcasing exemplary leadership and team collaboration to deliver exceptional investment results.

Possessing a Chartered Financial Analyst credential, Kurt brings to the table a rich skill set encompassing analytical prowess, organizational acumen, team-oriented approach, and effective communication abilities.

He boasts extensive experience in fundraising, investor relations, hedge funds, structured products, fund marketing, bankruptcies, restructurings, credit analysis, valuations, and crafting credit agreements and bond indentures.

Kurt Plumer's academic background includes an MBA with a specialization in Finance and Strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, as well as a BBA with majors in Economics and Finance from Baylor University.

In his professional journey, Kurt has held prominent roles such as Managing Director and Head of Restructuring and Workout at WhiteStar Asset Management, served on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Chapter at Folds of Honor, acted as Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at Commerce Street Investment Management, and worked as a Partner at Highland Capital Management.

Prior to these roles, he garnered valuable experience as a High Yield Trader at Lehman Brothers and as an Associate at Banc of America Securities, previously known as NationsBanc Capital Markets.
