Susie Codd is a music business professional with a diverse background in investment banking and artist management. After receiving her MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University and her BS in Business/Economics from Notre Dame de Namur University, she worked for nearly a decade as a commercial real estate investment banker. In 1990, she decided to take a break from her career to raise her family. But her passion for music led her back to school in 2007. She then earned her Masters in Music Business from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where she also received the Herbie Hancock Celebrity Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Performance.

Susie has managed several music projects throughout her career. She began managing her son's jazz band trio, which performed free shows at senior living centers. Later, she began managing "Groove Management," a student jazz band from Athenian High School for community service shows. In 2008, she started managing Soul/R&B/Jazz artist Nicolas Bearde, and more recently, she added Bay Area classic rock act "PUSH" to her roster.

Additionally, in 2009, Susie launched the music publishing division of her company, Fifth Level Music Group, LLC (FLMG). FLMG controls 100% of the master and sync rights of their compositions. They have had several successful collaborations with international artists such as Swedish singer/songwriter Marie Glad and Acoustic/Rock Quartet ALMA DESNUDA.

In addition to her professional work, Susie also serves on the Board of Directors for Music in Schools Today and has been a delegate for MUSExpo in the past.
