Sam Tejwani, MD

Sam Tejwani, MD, is a highly accomplished Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in minimally-invasive shoulder and knee repair and reconstruction. With Fellowship training in Sports Medicine, Dr. Tejwani has an extensive background in both basic science and clinical orthopaedics, showcasing his expertise through numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. His leadership roles within Kaiser Permanente have encompassed national contracting, academic symposiums, registry research, medical coding, physical therapy delivery, and Epic EMR implementation. Dr. Tejwani has also served as a Team Physician for top sports organizations including the NFL, NCAA, NHL, and MLB, demonstrating his breadth of experience and skill in sports medicine. In his leisure time, he enjoys pursuing his passion for winemaking as a hobby vintner at KO’AI in The Napa Valley Reserve.
