Alex Larrieux

Alex Larrieux is a highly-educated and accomplished professional with a background in law, taxation, and development. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Affairs with a minor in Spanish from Northeastern University and went on to complete a Juris Doctor degree at Northeastern University School of Law. He also studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science, earning a Hansard Scholars Programme certification. Finally, Alex completed a Master's degree in Business Taxation from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.

Throughout his career, Alex has held several notable positions at organizations such as USAID and Deloitte. As a former Technical Writer/Editor and Senior Tax Consultant for USAID, he is well-versed in development outreach and communication. He also served as a Corporate & International Tax Consultant at Deloitte, where he provided investment advisory services to clients. Alex is a former intern at Veirano Advogados as well as an Ella Baker Fellow at the Center for Constitutional Rights. Earlier in his career, Alex worked as a Federal Law Clerk Intern for the Honorable Ronald Ellis at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Alex has a passion for corporate and parliamentary affairs, as exemplified by his work with the Commission for Racial Equality, where he worked in the Corporate and Parliamentary Affairs Division. In addition, he served as a messenger for the General Assembly 61st Session at the United Nations. Currently, Alex serves as the Deputy Development Outreach and Communications Officer at USAID, where he likely uses his expertise in writing, editing, and communication to help spread the organization's message.
