Ajay Batra

Ajay Batra, an accomplished institution-builder and senior leader, is a prominent figure in the startup and education sectors. With extensive operating and consulting experience, he is a mentor and investor for early-stage startups, and a social change catalyst who practices Design Thinking. Ajay has served as a jury member for various startup competitions, including HULT, Babson Challenge, and CII, and is associated with various national committees of CII and FICCI. He is a life member of the NHRD Network, a charter member of TiE and Atal Tinkering Labs, NITI Aayog's mentor.

Ajay Batra has received an MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, alongside various Certifications such as Authorized Trainer & Assessor, Capability Maturity Models at Carnegie Mellon University, Design Thinking for Social Impact at the University of Pennsylvania, and Entrepreneurship at Babson College. He completed his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and his higher secondary education from Delhi Public School.

In his professional background, Ajay Batra has served as the Executive Vice President - Venture Fastrack at Wadhwani Foundation, where he helped build high-performance organizations. He has founded organizations such as Lutyens Startups, QAI Global, and the International Educational Exchange - India, among others. Ajay Batra has previously held positions as Founder and Chief Mentor at Startup Innovation Lab - SILab, Founding Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship & Bennett Hatchery at Bennett University, Executive Coach at FranklinCovey, and VP at Citibank, Wall Street, NY.
