Chetan Tonde is an accomplished Computer Science professional with extensive expertise in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. After completing his B. Tech in Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering Pune, Chetan went on to pursue an MS and PhD in Computer Science at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick. He currently works as an Applied Scientist at Amazon's Sponsored Advertising group, previously having served as both a Research Intern and Machine Learning Scientist Intern in the company. Chetan is also a skilled Instructor, having taught at Rutgers University in the past.

Chetan's interests span various areas of AI, including Statistical Learning Theory, Algorithms, Optimization, and Topological Data Analysis. He is also passionate about Computer Vision and has worked with ExxonMobil Corporate Strategic Research in the past. Currently, Chetan is focused on developing his expertise in the field of Sponsored Advertising at Amazon.
