Designed and taught language, literature, and mathematics lessons for approximately 80 students within the framework of the International Baccalaureate Program. Taught an advanced program of study class on young adult novels. Developed and taught engaging curriculum materials in the areas of language arts and mathematics. Teach in a summer school program run by Teach For America for students in Atlanta Public Schools under the supervision of a faculty of experienced teachers. Engage in a full schedule of professional development activities, including seminars, discussion groups, workshops, individual and group reflections, readings, and ‘learning teams’ specific to my teaching license area.

Taught 8-12th grade Language Arts classes while gaining perspective on international education over a ten week period. Designed and implemented a unit plan on Arthur Miller's "The Crucible." Completed a reflective teacher work sample including lesson plans, classroom management plans, cultural adaptations and assessment tools.
