Baran Korkut

Baran Korkut is a seasoned mechanical engineer turned management and strategy consultant who has now established himself as a business model design expert. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Istanbul Technical University and an MBA from University at Buffalo. During his consulting career, Baran developed expertise in commercial strategy, due diligence, strategic planning and process optimization in multiple industries and geographies.

Driven by his passion for design, Baran quit his consulting career and became the Turkey partner of Business Models Inc. After learning the ropes from the creators of the global business model generation movement, he started his own consultancy "betakorp" and co-founded "Workinlot," where he currently serves as the chief producer.

Baran plays a crucial role in shaping Workinlot's business model and product roadmap while actively serving corporations to tackle their strategic challenges and seize new opportunities. With his diverse background and innovative thinking, Baran is now a common name among those looking to revamp their business models or broaden their design thinking in strategy development.
