Jani Smith is an accomplished designer with experience in advertising and editorial design. She studied Liberal Arts at Cottey College and Design at the Kansas City Art Institute. With her skills and natural leadership abilities, Jani pursues a career to satisfy her artistic talent and aspire to be an innovator and trailblazer. Her specialties include print and web design, advertising, promotional materials, package design, direct mail, corporate identity, layout, and production.

Jani has an extensive background as a Creative Director at AvidLifestyle, a former Art Director at Colorado AvidGolfer, Creative Director at Elevation Media Group, and Creative Director at Dining Out Magazines/Pearl Publishing Media Group. She was also the Corporate Creative Services-Sr. Art Director at Primedia Business Magazines and Media, Principal Designer/Partner at Merry JJ Design Boutique, and held positions at Intertec Publishing and Mallen & Friends Advertising Arts & Design.

Currently, Jani is the Freelance Designer/Owner at It Girl Design Boutique, where she specializes in Advertising Arts. Her ultimate goal is to be challenged, inspired and make people's lives better through her designs.
