Guillermo de Oliveira, an experienced filmmaker and producer, has had a passion for film and media since he was young. Born in Vigo, Spain, Guillermo studied Communication Audiovisual, Journalism, and a Master's in Cinematography at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. He has also attended workshops and courses at prestigious international institutions such as New York Film Academy, EICTV in Cuba, and Metrópolis C.E.
Guillermo has been actively working in the media industry for over 15 years, starting his career as a multimedia editor and producer at Diario ABC. He has also worked as a creative director at El Cañonazo Multimedia, where he collaborated in ad campaigns for internationally recognized brands such as Iberia, ING, and Sony. In 2013, Guillermo founded his own production company, Zapruder Pictures, where he has produced content for very distinguished clients such as JLL, Pepsico, and PortAventura.
Aside from his expertise in producing commercials, Guillermo is also a talented filmmaker, having directed and produced numerous short films throughout his career. In 2018, he collaborated on a Netflix documentary called "Desenterrando Sad Hill," which was nominated for the Goya Awards and won the award for Best Noves Visions Film at the Sitges Film Festival.
Guillermo currently works as a professor of "Nuevas Narrativas Audiovisuales" in the Master of Journalism program at Diario ABC-UCM, where he shares his expertise with aspiring filmmakers and journalists. With years of experience in the industry, Guillermo continues to expand his skill set, always pushing the limits of storytelling and media production.
