André Uitterdijk is a driven postdoctoral researcher with a passion for developing innovative methods to treat cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, and metabolic diseases. Dr. Uitterdijk has a wealth of experience working with preclinical and translational models of regenerative medicine, utilizing complex imaging techniques and cellular and molecular approaches to advance his research. In addition, Dr. Uitterdijk is certified in several coaching and fitness programs, and is interested in improving individuals' overall health and wellness.

With a PhD in Regenerative Cardiology from Erasmus Medical Centre and a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research Center, Dr. Uitterdijk is an accomplished scholar. He is also a former visiting research scientist at Ottawa General Hospital, and has worked as a postdoctoral researcher and coach for Staal&Kracht. In addition, Dr. Uitterdijk has experience serving as the chairman of a not-for-profit homeowners association.
