Jorge Guzman - The Mechanical Engineer Brewing Up a Storm

Jorge Guzman is a talented individual with significant experience in various industries, showcasing his dedication and passion for diverse fields. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He further pursued his interest in brewing and acquired a certificate in Intensive Brewing Science and Engineering from the American Brewers Guild.

After completing his education, Jorge landed his first professional role as an Implementation Analyst at DHL. He then worked as a Staff Consultant at Capgemini before transitioning into the finance sector as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Jorge's love for entrepreneurship eventually led him to leave the corporate world, co-founding Antigua Cerveza, where he currently serves as the COO.

During his time in the business sector, Jorge also worked as a Senior Consultant for Midtown Consulting Group and as an Associate of the CBIZ M&A Group. His diverse experience has allowed him to develop skills in consulting, management, brewing, and finance.

Jorge's passion for brewing led him to co-found Antigua Cerveza. His past experiences in the consulting and finance sectors have prepared him for the entrepreneurial journey. His engineering background has equipped him with the technical skills to develop innovative products within the brewing industry.
