Stephen Ornstein

Stephen Ornstein is a highly experienced attorney with a wealth of knowledge in mortgage and consumer lending regulations. He has provided expert counsel to national mortgage companies, mortgage insurers, financial institutions as well as others to help them achieve compliance with regulatory requirements. Ornstein has extensive knowledge of RESPA, Truth-in-Lending, the National Flood Insurance Act, and Fair Housing/Fair Lending regulations as well as other related matters. He has spoken and written on financial services topics and has previously worked on government regulation of mortgage finance, predominantly dealing with FHA-insured and VA-guaranteed projects mortgage loans, and secondary market issues.
