Christian Prickaerts is an accomplished information security professional with a wealth of experience in cyber security. As Director of Managed Services at Fox-IT, he strives to set high standards and provide an example to others. Christian is highly passionate about technology and security in general, which is why he frequently speaks at conferences on topics related to information security. With his ability to convey technical complex topics to non-technical individuals, he also serves as a teacher to help others develop their expertise.

Christian has studied many Cybersecurity courses at different institutes, including OPST / OPSA at ISECOM, PO at SVPB, CISA at ISACA, GCFE at SANS Institute, GCFA at SANS Institute, CISSP at (ISC)², Prins2 at CCO, ITIL Essentials at CCO, GSEC at SANS Institute, Senior Leadership Development Program at Nyenrode Business University, and completed studies at Leiden University.

With his extensive experience, Christian has worked with various organizations. He is a former Trainer, Manager of Fox-IT Managed Security Services, Manager of Audits, Forensics and Incident Response, and Principal Forensic IT Investigator at Fox-IT. He has also been a Forensic Researcher at The Maastricht Forensic Institute and a System Administrator & Security Specialist at Maastricht University. His expertise has made him a sought-after instructor for the SANS Institute, where he has taught several courses, and as a lecturer at Grotius Academie.

As a board member of the Netherlands chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Christian is focused on inspiring colleagues to further develop their expertise both individually and as part of a larger team. He also previously graded GIAC GSEC certification at GIAC and was a Docent Verdopung Computercriminaliteit en Digitale Opsporing, where he shared his knowledge.
