Alex Shepherd

Alex Shepherd is a seasoned professional with a rich background in media, eCommerce, and digital commerce.

With over a decade of experience at Carat (formerly MediaVest), Alex started as a TV buyer and eventually rose to the position of Associate Director in the client services department, managing accounts for renowned brands like Virgin Money, Holland and Barratt, Brother UK, and Talk Talk Business.

Transitioning to Space 48 in 2014, an eCommerce agency specializing in Magento, Alex significantly contributed to the company's growth by spearheading new business efforts and onboarding clients such as Gro, Silentnight, Cox & Cox, and Glamorous.

His role at Corra, a global digital commerce agency and Magento Global Elite partner, involved driving the European office's progress, acquiring new customers like Richer Sounds, Ego Shoes, and Naissance, and undertaking business development and marketing activities.

Currently, Alex works at Magento as an Enterprise Sales Manager, collaborating with Enterprise businesses to leverage the Magento Product suite for their growth.

Alex's educational journey includes studying at Birkenhead Boys, South Dakota State University, and obtaining a BA Hons in International Business Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
