Jurgen Vollrath is a highly accomplished business leader and legal counsel in the high-tech industry. Born and educated in South Africa, Vollrath has attained success in several fields, including sports, military, and business. He has a black belt in Shotokan Karate and was the Valedictorian of his Air Force Officers Academy. Vollrath studied Electronics and Intellectual Property Law, with an emphasis on patents, at the University of the Witwatersrand.

After moving to the US, Vollrath founded several companies and served as the president and CEO of numerous organizations. For the last 25 years, he has been advising high-tech companies, providing turn-key solutions to re-invent their innovation pipelines, structuring IP portfolios and implementing acquisition plans. Vollrath has held leadership positions at organizations such as RevMD, Market Leaders' Forum, Exponential Technology Counsel, CorinthianOphthalmic, Inc., SAP, Arter & Hadden LLP, National Semiconductor, Oblon Spivak Mclelland Maier and Neustadt and Spoor & Fisher.
