Emily Gum is an experienced executive with a passion for education and civic organizations. She has a proven track record for successful project management, fundraising, and public relations. Emily is also pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Ethics from the University of Oxford with a focus on the intersectionality of virtues, schools, and civic spaces. She has studied a Master of Philosophy in Theology and Religion from the University of Oxford, a Master of Arts in International Relations and Theological Studies from the University of St Andrews, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology and Religion from the University of Oxford.
Emily's career spans across several organizations, including The Frederick Gunn School where she is currently an Assistant Head of School. She has also served as the Interim Executive Director and Managing Director at the New City Commons Foundation, Managing Editor of The Hedgehog Review, and Publications Assistant and Research Associate at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture. She has also interned at the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life.
