Michael Lisman
Michael Lisman is an accomplished manager with a focus on international education development in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has an extensive background in various organizations, including USAID, The George Washington University, and Harvard University. He has also served as a Contributing columnist at The Guardian - CiF and a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic. Michael holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Education (Ed.M.) in International Education Policy from Harvard University, and a B.A. in Political Science and Visual & Cultural Studies from the University of Rochester.
Throughout his career, Michael has concentrated on policy decisions for early literacy improvement in developing countries, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. As a Team Lead for LAC/Education at USAID, he is responsible for the management and coordination of education projects in the region. His academic background and years of experience in the field have equipped him with comprehensive knowledge and skills to initiate and ensure the success of programs aimed at advancing education access, quality, and equity.
