Snow on the Road is the platform for my commercial, editorial and documentary photography and film direction which draw from over a decade of field ethnography. I specialize in photography for brand impact, telling deeply authentic and emotive stories captured from real life transporting the audience into a moment. Worked with Product and Innovation Team at Microsoft for the exclusive Innovation Outreach Conference (IOP) 2019 on product design to enable engagement and the event itself, also invited as an innovation speaker. Invite only membership event aims to inform members and create strategic partnerships on projects between the C-Suite leaders in attendance from fortune 500 companies to enable innovation and collaboration with real and significant global impact, a big part of role as consultant was to see opportunities and support them. More than 80 fortune 500 C-Suite innovation leaders were in attendance in Dublin for IOP.

Designed brand’s first yoga apparel line, drawing from brands technology and story, of empowering women to move freely and with confidence in yoga and street wear. Creative Lead

Created and taught studio course “New Products for Performance Sports.” Selected for Industrial Design Curriculum Planning Committee, Fall 2013. Working with international panel, explored design methodology through the RISD content; design building blocks, user research, risk taking for impactful ideation, industry guests, and real world business case studies. Developed and delivered curriculum plan.Selected to serve on the Industrial Design Curriculum Planning Committee in Fall 2013.  Served on external review committee whose purpose is to assess and refine the programs within the  department. Worked collaboratively in an onsite intensive with the committee at RISD to understand the ID undergraduate and graduate curriculum.  Presented initial findings to Department Head and Dean of Design School, key faculty.  Over the following month, collectively wrote an extensive report, covering all the areas reviewed in person with actionable feedback, to compliment the Internal Review Committees process of the same.

Founding member of Apparel Innovation team, created new product stories based on brand DNA. Developed early stage designs for novel projects to support go to market Apparel Team. Explored emerging technologies and developed projects, based on forecasts and consumer needs. Worked across projects from start to finish; research, ideation, new tech development, design, proto iteration, viability testing in sports lab, to final story output with marketing. Supporting field research with Seal Team Six, military veterans, professional MLB players, Olympic and Collegiate Athletes. Collaborated with research groups and universities, and with other NB Advanced Concepts teams.
