Michael Metzger
Michael Metzger is a highly experienced business professor and international development consultant with a wealth of knowledge and skills in emerging Latin American and Caribbean markets. He has 18 years of experience in teaching, research, and administrative positions at top business schools in the United States and Latin America. He is also a well-known presenter in conferences across the Americas and Europe, covering topics such as social marketing, social enterprise, and sustainability.
Metzger's expertise lies in various interdisciplinary fields, including social marketing and nonprofit marketing, social enterprise, and social responsibility. He has published numerous books, book chapters, and academic and professional journal articles in both English and Spanish, reflecting his diverse interests. His research and teaching incorporate practical action-based methods, including both qualitative and quantitative analysis, using exploratory, descriptive, and quasi-experimental designs, and single and multiple case studies, among other methodologies.
Metzger holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Education Management and Public Policy from the University of Michigan, as well as an MBA in Management from the University of Toledo.
