Denae Hannah is an award-winning financial literacy educator and accomplished dance artist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Master of Fine Arts from Florida State University. Additionally, she is a Certified Credit Counselor, Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional, and has completed a course at Upright Citizens Brigade. As a financial coach at Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners, Denae provides counseling and coaching services to historically economically disenfranchised communities in Brooklyn, NY. Furthermore, she has designed innovative in-person, e-learning, and white-label financial literacy education curriculum, holding over 2700 hours of one-on-one financial counseling.

Previously, Denae held roles such as Founder & Lead Financial Literacy Educator at Wealthy Denae, Financial Counselor & E-Learning Designer at Grant Associates Inc, and C-Suite Assistant & Project Manager at CBRE. Additionally, she held positions at Artist360, Urban Bush Women, and Stanford University, where she was commissioned as an artist. Denae is an active member of the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education and the Association for African American Financial Advisors.

Denae's passion for financial literacy advocacy stems from her personal project of paying off all her student loan and credit card debt while touring internationally as a contemporary dancer. Unburdened by debt for five years and counting, Denae enjoys helping others achieve financial wellness. She is particularly interested in supporting financial wellness in the dance and arts community.
